Russian automaker AvtoVAZ may experience airbag shortages for Lada Vesta. In this respect reports Avtograd News is publicly available on the VKontakte social network.
“AvtoVAZ is preparing for disruptions in the supply of components for Lada Vesta cars, including disruptions in the supply of airbags. Many test vehicles without this option have left the production line. As you know, Granta vehicles are now produced without airbags again. Maybe the same scenario will happen to Vesta. Airbags have not yet returned to the Niva family of cars.
It happened before that knownIt was stated that AvtoVAZ could not reach the full production capacity of Lada Vesta cars at its Tolyatti factory due to parts shortage.
In July this year, the chairman of the Russian Association of Automobile Dealers (ROAD) Alexey Podshchekoldin said that AvtoVAZ sent disassembled Lada cars to dealers, and the share of such cars reached 60-70%.
