The MREO of the Moscow traffic police began to issue license plates of the new 977 series, socialbites.ca noted. One of the first cars with such a regional code was photographed by drivers and posted their pictures on the Nomerogram service (an application of the Drom.ru classification, which provides data on the operation of used cars).
The photo shows the Toyota RAV4 crossover of a new model year, which, frankly, was recently registered with the traffic police. The owner of a Japanese car was one of the first to receive numbers with the region code “977”. Previously, three-digit numbers in the capital began with 1 or 7.
Currently, Moscow uses the regional codes with the following numerical values: 77, 97, 99, 177, 197, 199, 777, 797, 799 , reported even at the end of last year. Traditionally, among all regions of Russia, state plates are not found in the capital, due to the constant expansion of the vehicle fleet.
