The staff of the Volkswagen Group Rus company is currently in a state of rest. About 200 employees work in Nizhny Novgorod, and it was they who were offered the program of voluntary termination of employment contracts with the agreement of the parties.
As previously reported, before voluntary termination, each layoff was promised up to six salaries, the ability to keep office equipment (smartphones and laptops), and medical insurance through the end of 2022.
The Volkswagen factory ASM union met with management to increase the amount of compensation, Rossiyskaya Gazeta found. Initially six salaries were offered, now they are considering 6 average salaries, that’s more. Work laptops and smartphones stay with employees; who has received a subsidy for the purchase of a new car, does not give it away; health insurance remains valid until the end of the year. The company gives a bonus for the duration of the employment 15-05-2015. Employees who meet this deadline this year will receive it in full.
Those who do not accept such an offer will remain inactive until the company decides further, assured Andrey Sanosyan, deputy governor of the Nizhny Novgorod region. If necessary, the Ministry of Labor and Employment of the Nizhny Novgorod Region will help those who are retired to find work.
