When choosing a used crossover, it is better to refrain from buying Mercedes-Benz GLK, Volvo XC60 and Nissan X-Trail with CVT. In this respect reports “Rossiyskaya Gazeta”, referring to the technical director of the fresh automotive market Maxim Ryazanov.

“Russian dissatisfaction was caused by the operation of versions of the German crossover Mercedes-Benz GLK, produced from 2008 to 2015. Car owners noted that even after 100,000 km, the car experienced problems with the power units due to the loss of chain tension in the timing chain drive,” Ryazanov told the publication.

According to him, the loss of chain tension negatively affected the operation of the valves. Volvo XC60 has problems with 2.0 gasoline engines after only 150 thousand kilometers, and Nissan X-Trail’s CVT with factory index JF016E is not durable. The source of this transmission runs out after 80-100 thousand kilometers.

Previously it was sharply known in Russia price dropped hybrid Chery Tiggo 8 Pro.
