In July, Tesla assembled the first production copy of its Cybertruck electric pickup truck at a factory in Texas.

“Cybertruck is already shipping to Tesla stores in North America,” the American entrepreneur said in his statement.

The Cybertruck was first introduced by Tesla in 2019, with production expected to begin in 2021 with a starting price of around $40,000. However, in January 2022, Musk announced that the Cybertruck production launch would be postponed to 2023 due to component shortages. According to the company, the pickup will be able to carry more than 1.5 tons of cargo, reach 96 km/h in 2.9 seconds and travel up to 800 km on a single battery charge.
