Skoda will continue to produce cars in Ukraine

Czech company Skoda will continue to deliver car kits to Ukraine for car assembly. It is reported by Reuters.

According to the publication, the first 80 car kits will soon be delivered to the Eurocar plant located in the village of Solomonovo, Uzhgorod region, Transcarpathian region. Skoda said the volume of deliveries and automobile production will depend on the situation in Ukraine.

The Ukrainian company assembles Skoda Superb, Skoda Kodiaq, Skoda Karoq and Skoda Fabia Combi cars for the local market. The launch of cars on Eurocar was suspended in early March this year due to a special operation.

Previously reportedUkrainian companies Infocom LTD and UGV Chargers are developing a “people’s electric car”. The machine will receive quick-release batteries that can be replaced in a few minutes.
