Last night, a black Hyundai Genesis with a flashing light hit a courier crossing the road at a crosswalk in central Moscow, on Sretenka, near house number 19.
The car is registered at the Motor Transport Plant of the Administration of the President of the Russian Federation.
It later turned out that at the time of the accident, the head of the Just Russia – For Truth faction, Sergei Mironov, was in the car.
The food delivery man, although he was moving along a crosswalk, was breaking the rules himself, as he did not get off his bike.
“The driver or cyclist is to blame – the food delivery person, the traffic police will determine. I did not see the fact of the collision, because I always work with documents in the car. As soon as this happened, the driver got out, saw that the cyclist was alive and his leg was injured. When I was made aware of this, I asked to call an ambulance and the traffic police. We were waiting for the arrival of both,” Mironov wrote in his Telegram channel.
An ambulance and the traffic police were called to the scene, the courier was hospitalized with leg injuries.
Mironov promised that he would monitor the health of the victim and help him recover.
There is only one strange moment in all this: as the Telegram channel writes mash potato, citing the words of eyewitnesses, after the accident, the driver hastily twisted the numbers and removed the flash. Perhaps to avoid undue excitement around the incident.
