Alexei Pshenichny, ambassador of luxury jewelry store Mercury in the Moscow region, was arrested after hitting a traffic inspector and fighting with police. In this respect reports Telegram channel Mash.
Last Sunday, a traffic police inspector noticed Pshenichny showing signs of drunkenness near a store in the village of Zhukovka. The man got behind the wheel of his Mercedes-Benz Gelandewagen SUV and drove towards the house. The police followed him and tried to stop, but the driver ignored them and increased his speed.
The Mercury ambassador’s car was stopped near his dacha in Barvikha. 34-year-old senior lieutenant Nikolai Sebekin jumped out of the shuttle to block his path, but Pshenichny hit him. The report states that they tried to detain the man, but he resisted and started a fight.
The injured traffic police officer was hospitalized with a displaced open fracture of his tibia and is currently being prepared for surgery. After Pshenichny was detained, investigators of the Investigative Committee of the Moscow Region charged him under two articles: using violence against a government official and intentionally causing grievous bodily harm.
