According to the publication, buyers will be offered models with two types of power plants. The first version will be equipped only with electric motors, and the design of the second will include, in addition to electric motors, an internal combustion engine (ICE) working as a generator to charge the traction battery. Specifications of the new Jeep Wrangler have not been reported.
Additionally, Jeep plans to introduce the new generation Cherokee in 2027. Unlike the Wrangler, the new product is planned to be produced with both electric motors and traditional internal combustion engines.
