The court found that the man registered a Toyota with a 4.3-liter engine imported from Abkhazia in 2021, producing 280 hp. under the temporary import regime without paying customs duty. However, after its expiration, the car did not leave the Russian Federation and did not pass customs.
“The information provided by the traffic police confirms that the administrative defendant was using the vehicle for his personal needs. “The court concluded that, under the specified conditions, customs duties, recycling fees and penalties can be collected from the defendant,” he said.
As a result, the court collected from the defendant 2.2 million rubles of customs duty, 658.6 thousand rubles of late payment penalties and 5.2 thousand rubles of recycling fees. The decision came into force.
