Drivers need to replace their summer tires with winter tires as icy conditions are expected next week in Moscow. This was reported by TASS Roman Vilfand, scientific director of the Russian Hydrometeorological Center.
“We definitely need to switch to winter tires. “This is already unconditional and there is no need to doubt it,” he said.
According to Vilfand, temperatures will be below 5 degrees by the end of next week, which may affect the elasticity of car tires.
The scientific director of the Hydrometeorology Center noted that icy conditions were predicted almost every day after October 23.

Drivers were asked to comply with speed limits and distances and to be careful on the roads.
