Not only possible, but also necessary. According to section 2.6.1 of the SDA, in a traffic accident, in which only material damage has been caused, the driver involved in the incident is obliged to clear the lane if there is an obstacle to the movement of other vehicles, after having first checked with all possible means, including photographs or video recordings, the position of vehicles in relation to each other and the road infrastructure, tracks and objects related to the incident, and damage to vehicles.
if people have been killed or injured as a result of a traffic accident, the driver involved is only obliged to clear the lane if it is impossible to move other vehicles (paragraph 2.6 of the SDA) At the same time, it is also necessary to first restore the traces and objects associated with the incident, take all possible measures to preserve them and organize a detour around the scene.
Failure to comply with these rules is fraught with the imposition of an administrative fine of 1000 rubles under Part 1 of Article 12.27 of the Code of Administrative Violations of the Russian Federation.
