Readers of Za Rulem, the oldest and most authoritative automotive publication in Russia, spoke of a possible increase in fines for driving without a license again. Recall that the relevant amendments to the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation and the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation were developed by an intergroup led by Deputy Speaker of the State Duma Irina Yarovaya.
It is planned to increase the fine to 50-100 thousand rubles, and if the offender is caught a third time, the liability is criminal. We polled the official Za Rulem account on Viber – what do our readers think of this initiative? Voting was held from May 26 to May 31, during which time 2,729 people took part.
