“In the first six months of 2023, the amount of purchases under Federal Law No. 44 of April 5, 2013 for the supply of AvtoVAZ vehicles decreased by 25% from 677 million rubles to 504 million rubles. Acquisitions in UAZ also decreased. Service analysts said that for six months, the volume of state trade under 44-FZ fell by 24% from 692 million rubles to 523 million rubles.
GAZ became the leader in the amount of state purchases among Russian automakers. But from January to June, a negative trend was noted – 1.37 billion rubles, down 2%.

State Duma Chairman Vyacheslav Volodin said in July that deputies should decide to use only domestic cars such as Moskvich, Lada and Aurus as official vehicles.
