Russian automaker AvtoVAZ plans to increase prices for the entire Lada range from August 20. In this respect informs Telegram channel Mash.
According to the channel, most AvtoVAZ dealers in Russia now have a shortage of cars – only two or three cars from each Lada series are available. The plan is to improve the situation by raising prices. How much is still unknown.
Theoretically, it is stated that the increase in prices will help the concern stabilize the supply of spare parts and fill dealers with models by September-October. It’s almost impossible to come and get a car now. Basically, dealers offer to place a claim, pay an advance and wait a few months without fixing the price.
AvtoVAZ told the Mash channel that they do not plan to increase prices for the basic versions of the car, only “some adjustments” in the cost of more advanced equipment levels are possible.
Previously reportedthat a batch of several dozen Volkswagen Lavida sedans will be brought to Russia in the coming weeks.
