Stellantis’ Opel brand showed Experimental concept car that reflects the evolution of the brand’s corporate identity.
The main features of the concept are high aerodynamic efficiency, a spacious interior with lighting, lightweight seats and a next-level media system. Opel promises that many signature details of the concept will make its way into the automaker’s series production.
In terms of dimensions, the Opel Experimental belongs to the middle class C, but in terms of interior volume it is close to the larger D-class cars. The car is built on the BEV platform, designed for the production of electric vehicles. The concept is equipped with a folding steering wheel and light mesh seats.
In addition, the designers abandoned the chrome plating, replacing it with contrasting inserts and LEDs. In September, the concept will be shown at the IAA Mobility show in Munich.
