BMW company showed The factory armored version of the 7 Series executive sedan and the electric version of the i7.
The integrated armored vehicle can protect occupants from attacks by firearms and explosives and meets protection class VR9 (withstands bombardment by 7.62-caliber guns with steel-core bullets).
The supporting body structure of the protected BMW 7 is made entirely of armored steel, and the three-dimensional structural elements are formed by hot pressing. The BMW Protection Core concept enables the creation of a protective capsule with reinforced doors as well as an armored floor and bulletproof glass.
At the same time, BMW engineers tried to minimize the differences between the armored version and the standard sedan. The petrol version of the car is equipped with a 4.4 turbo engine with 530 hp, while the i7 power plant provides two electric motors with 544 hp.
Formerly brand Opel introduced new concept.
