French President Emmanuel Macron appeared in a new armored vehicle created by French premium car brand DS at the Bastille Day parade on Friday. It has been reported BFMTV.

The President traveled to the Champs Elysées in a brand new DS 7 ÉLYSÉE based on the DS 7 E-Tense 4X4 300.

The presidential version of the car is armored, has an extended chassis and special equipment. The car runs on both fuel and electricity.

Macron consistently chooses DS cars as his presidential car.

LatinNCAP, an organization that crash-tests cars previously sold in Latin America and the Caribbean, published Citroen C3 test results. According to the results of the crash test, it received zero stars. As a result, protection for the driver and front passenger in the event of a possible collision was rated at 31%, child passengers – 12%, protection for pedestrians – 50%. For auxiliary electronics, the Citroen C3 received 35%.
