Russian President Vladimir Putin signed the law establishing the procedure for the recovery of a deprived driver’s license. In this respect informs TASS.

In particular, the document prohibits those who have been disenfranchised due to drunk driving or refusal to undergo a medical examination from taking the driver’s license examinations. According to the Code of Administrative Offenses, a person is subject to an administrative penalty from the date of entry into force of the decision on his appointment and within one year after the end of its execution. The report states that during this period such citizens will not be able to transfer and receive their rights.

The law also specifies the procedure for allowing drivers to drive (TS). For example, if you have at least one year of driving experience in cars and trucks, you will be allowed to use buses. From the age of 17 will be allowed to pass the exams for the right to drive a tricycle, quadricycle and other vehicles.

Also, the document describes the features of the replacement of foreign driver’s licenses in the Russian Federation. Thus, foreign and international driver’s licenses become invalid after one year from the date of foreigners obtaining a residence permit of the Russian Federation or Russian citizenship.
