socialbites.ca drew attention to the fact that auto dealers brought BAIC X7 crossovers to Russia. Announcements about 2023 cars were posted in classified ads by sellers from the Moscow region and Primorsky Krai.
The BAIC X7 made its debut in China three years ago and is the most expensive crossover in the brand’s lineup. In the spring of this year, the automaker introduced a redesigned version of the SUV. The price of an updated car from dealers in Russia starts from 3.5 million rubles, and dealers estimate the front-end X7 at 2.2-2.6 million rubles.
With the update, the length of the crossover was increased from 4710 mm to 4755 mm, it also received new optics, other bumpers and a frameless radiator grille. The BAIC X7 is offered in Russia with a 1.5 turbo engine (188 hp; 275 Nm) and a seven-speed preselected “robot”. Modifications with a hybrid power plant are also available on the domestic market.
Two 12-inch instrument clusters and multimedia screens are placed in the diagonal cabin, they are visually combined into a single unit, there is an additional dual-zone climate control screen. The equipment list includes five airbags, rear parking sensors, perimeter vision system, adaptive cruise control, panoramic roof and keyless entry.
