Senator Artem Sheikin, Deputy Chairman of the Federation Council Council for the Advancement of the Digital Economy, proposed limiting the speed limit for electric scooters on the sidewalks in Moscow to 10 km/h. In this respect informs RIA Novosti refers to a letter addressed to the mayor of the capital, Sergei Sobyanin.
“Taking into account the great social importance of this issue, I propose to resolve the issue of bringing all pavements into traffic zones with a speed limit of 10 km/h,” the document says.
