Dmitry Pronin, general director of the Moskvich automobile plant, will leave his post and will take over the chairmanship of the enterprise’s board of directors. In this respect report Vedomosti cites two sources close to the company.
According to the interlocutors of the publication, Pronin will return to his job at the Moscow Ministry of Transport and will oversee the factory on behalf of the city authorities. At the same time, he will head Moskvich’s board of directors, replacing KamAZ’s development director Irek Gumerov, who currently holds this post. The report states that one of the directors of KamAZ could replace the general director of the capital’s automobile plant.

According to the senior manager, together with his team, he successfully coped with the task set by Mayor Sergei Sobyanin – starting production from scratch, retaining the workforce, establishing logistics supply chains and creating a dealer network.
