Toyota has announced the second generation C-HR crossover. The model is intended for the European market, where they will also start production, says in a message from the manufacturer.
The innovation draws on a number of design decisions from the Toyota C-HR Prologue concept car introduced in December last year. The crossover will go on sale with hybrid power plants, the front-wheel drive modification with a 1.8 engine and an electric motor will be the most affordable. The next modification will include a power plant with a two-liter engine and an electric motor, and in the most expensive version, the C-HR will receive all-wheel drive.
In the cabin of the C-HR is a block that combines a digital instrument cluster and a multimedia system display (screen diagonal is 12.3 inches). The equipment list includes 20-inch wheels, a head-up display, panoramic roof, atmospheric interior lighting and JBL sound system. One of the trim levels is called the GR Sport Premiere Edition and includes decorative exterior and interior elements.
