The defendant was found to have stolen funds paid under OSAGO from 2019 to 2020 through deception and abuse of trust from 34 car owners and Alfastrakhovanie JSC, as well as the director of the Regional College of Economics and Law.
The convict worked at Transavtoservice LLC and Mosservis+ car service. He signed contracts for the repair of crashed cars and accepted the cars, but would not fix them. The man stole money paid to victims under OSAGO agreements for insured events.
The total amount stolen exceeded 1.8 million rubles. The man was sentenced to 2 years and 1 month in prison, the accused pleaded not guilty.
