When choosing cars in a minivan body as part of parallel imports, Russians most often prefer Korean and French cars. Dmitry Rogov, founder of the RogovMobil company, spoke about this in an interview with socialbites.ca (specializes in turnkey delivery of cars from South Korea, Europe and Japan).

“Russians often buy a minivan as an alternative to a crossover because of the single-volume body and the ability to transform the seats. Basically, customers are interested in cars for 2.5-3 million rubles. The most popular models are the Korean Kia Carnival and the French Citroen C4 Grand Picasso. Both are diesel powered, automatic transmission and front wheel drive,” said Rogov.

All minivans are usually ordered in the maximum configuration. The equipment of such cars often includes leather seats with ventilation and electric drive, panoramic roof, climate control, rear view camera. The expert also emphasized that the opportunity to quickly sell cars on the secondary market with minimal losses attracts buyers.

“If we are talking about something big and reliable, then Japanese minivans Honda Odyssey and Toyota Sienna with atmospheric gasoline engines and classic automatics are popular in this segment. In addition, Sienna has one advantage – the all-wheel drive system, noted Rogov.

Jan Haytseer, former Vice President of the National Automobile Association (NAU) declaration “socialbites.ca”, where crossovers are least depreciated in the secondary automotive market.
