State Duma deputy Yevgeny Fedorov addressed the head of the Ministry of Labor Anton Kotyakov with a proposal to exempt citizens who inherited a car from transport tax for one year, transmits RT with a link to the corresponding letter. The parliamentarian explained that when inheriting a vehicle, not all vehicle owners hold a driver’s license and do not plan to drive.

According to him, an inherited car is usually sold in its first year of use. And he added that if the new owner doesn’t have a driver’s license, he’ll have to spend a significant amount of time training that the vehicle will not be run.

“In this context, I ask you to consider the appropriateness of exemption from transport tax in the first year of ownership for citizens who are inherited and do not have a driver’s license at the time of admission. inheritance,” he says in the text of the appeal.
