The head of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, Denis Manturov, said that the Aurus Komendant SUV could be presented by the end of the summer.
“I think towards the end of the summer. And where – we will decide,” RIA Novosti quotes him as saying.
It is not the first time that the presentation of the car has been postponed; it was previously assumed that the Aurus Komendant would be on display in the spring of 2022.
From individual images of the Commander that have surfaced on the web, it is known that he will receive a branded Aurus grille with vertical louvers, large air intakes, rectangular headlights and a spoiler on the trunk lid.
The line of premium Russian cars includes limousine, sedan, minivan and SUV. The state invested 12.4 billion rubles in the project. Aurus shares are held by FSUE NAMI (63.5%), the UAE Tawazun Defense, Security and Development Fund (36%) and the Sollers Group (0.5%). Russian President Vladimir Putin drives a domestic brand limousine.
