SUV UAZ “Patriot” became the leader in the rating of residual value among three-year-old Russian cars in the first quarter of this year; informs analytical agency “Avtostat”.
The most liquid domestic car was the UAZ “Patriot” with a 2.7-liter engine and manual transmission. Three years after the acquisition, the residual value retention rate was 143.4%. In other words, after three years the SUV began to cost more than it was bought.
Next in line are the station wagons Lada Largus Cross and Largus (both with 1.6-liter engine and manual transmission) with 141.7% and 141.3% respectively. Next comes the station wagon Lada Vesta SW Cross (140.3%) with the same power unit. The results of other domestic cars are below the 140% mark.
According to experts, many domestic and foreign car owners can now sell their cars much higher than the price they bought. The reason is called a sharp increase in prices in the spring of 2022.
