Volvo C40 Recharge crossover coupe from China goes on sale in Russia

socialbites.ca has learned that auto dealers have started selling Chinese-made Volvo C40 Recharge electric crossovers on the Russian market. Many such machines produced in 2023 are listed in the advertisements on the pages of the companies. Car deliveries from China are carried out by sellers from the Moscow region, Novosibirsk region and Primorsky Territory, prices range from 4.2 million to 5.7 million rubles.

The coupe-shaped crossover Volvo C40 Recharge is based on the petrol XC40 model and has the same body dimensions (4440 mm long and 1873 mm wide). The electric version is distinguished by the design of the head optics and bumpers, as well as a plug instead of a radiator grill.

The C40 Recharge power plant consists of two engines on each axle. Total power is 408 hp. (660 Nm), maximum power reserve – 520 km. Acceleration to “hundred” takes 4.7 seconds. The equipment list includes an Android multimedia system, a surround view system, adaptive cruise control, a panoramic roof, keyless entry, memory and heated seats, dual-zone climate control, Harman Kardon audio system (13 speakers) and other options.
