Chery has unveiled a pre-production version of the compact crossover Omoda 3 in China. informs portal autohome.com.cn, which publishes photos of new items.
The car received a frameless grille radiator grill in the style of other Omoda models and two-layer optics. The show car is adorned with orange accents on the sills, fenders, bumper and roof. The cabin features a tilted steering wheel, a 7-inch digital instrument cluster and a 10.25-inch infotainment system screen.
The crossover is expected to receive a 1.5-liter naturally aspirated engine with a capacity of 116 hp. (143 Nm) five-speed manual or in conjunction with a variator.
It is noted that the Omoda 3 model is very similar to the Chery Tiggo 3x crossover. It is assumed that the innovation is aimed at foreign markets, including Russia and Kazakhstan.
