According to court records, the woman was driving a Suzuki Grand Vitara whose license plate was illegible due to snow, and the snow was applied specifically to make identification difficult, and the pollution had nothing to do with weather or other conditions. The driver claimed not to be guilty and stated that the car was parked near the house, the license plate was covered with snow due to the rain and he did not try to hide it.
As the traffic police inspector said, he saw an unreadable Suzuki Grand Vitara due to snow, although the car was clean. The traffic inspector asked the woman to stop, and then the driver parked in the yard next to the other cars. The traffic police said they saw traces of snow pressed into the plate. The court held the woman administratively liable under Part 2 of Art. 12.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation and deprived of a driver’s license for two months.
