The Chinese company Changan is preparing to sell new Alsvin sedans in Russia, the cars are already being sent to dealers, said Maxim Kadakov, editor-in-chief of Za Rulem magazine, on the Telegram channel. According to him, the sedan in its format is similar to the popular Hyundai Solaris and Kia Rio in the Russian market.
Changan Alsvin has a length of 4390 mm and a wheelbase of 2535 mm. The range of power units will include a 1.4-liter naturally aspirated engine (101 hp) coupled with a 5-speed manual, as well as a 1.5-liter engine (107 hp) paired with a 7-speed “robot” DCT.
The minimum cost of Changan Alsvin, according to Kadakov, will be about 1.6 million rubles, such a sedan will be offered with a 1.4-liter engine, manual transmission, ABS system and two airbags. He suggested that the modification with a “robot” will cost about 1.7 million rubles.
