The French hit a barrier on the Polish border with the intention of entering Russia. Reported by RIA Novosti with reference to the Polish Border Guard.

“At the checkpoint in Grzechotki, a 36-year-old Frenchman driving a Citroen set off for Russia. The ministry said it was not allowed to cross the border by the Border Guards because it did not have the necessary documents.

It was recorded that the man left and then returned and crashed into the barrier. The Frenchman said he took such a step to go to Russia as soon as possible after he was detained, because he “planned his future life there”.

The man was fined $240. In addition, shotgun cartridges were found in the car and he was fined an additional $120 for trying to carry those bullets.

The man was released after the proceedings were completed and the fines paid.
