Avtodom has closed the deal to buy the Russian assets of Mercedes-Benz. In this respect informs TASS with reference to the press service of the company.
On April 25, 2023, the Avtodom group of companies announced the signing of an agreement to purchase the Russian assets of Mercedes-Benz.
It was noted that Avtodom received the right to provide warranty support for Mercedes-Benz cars. In addition, Avtodom will soon appoint a technology partner for the further operation of the Mercedes-Benz plant in the Moscow region.
The amount of the transaction on the sale of Mercedes-Benz assets in the Russian Federation was not sought. The German concern will receive an option to repurchase shares. The Mercedes-Benz plant in the Esipovo industrial park in the Moscow region was opened in the spring of 2019, its production capacity is designed to produce 25-30 thousand cars per year in full cycle mode.
