Seat has unveiled a new Tavascan electric crossover under the Cupra brand. The manufacturer’s press service said that the innovation, designed and developed in Spain, will be produced at the Volkswagen plant in China.
The dimensions of the Cupra Tavascan are 4644x1861x1597 mm, and the wheelbase is 2766 mm. The crossover is slightly longer and lower than the Volkswagen ID.4, but has the same wheelbase. The most expensive crossover is equipped with two motors (335 hp; 679 Nm) and an all-wheel drive power plant that allows you to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.6 seconds. Such a car can travel up to 520 km on a single battery charge.
Cupra Tavascan received wheels ranging in size from 19 to 21 inches, a digital instrument cluster (5.3 inches) with an augmented reality projection screen, a 15-inch multimedia screen with the ability to customize widgets on the screen, touch panels for voice control. and climate control systems, as well as a 12-speaker audio system.
The list of driver assistance systems includes adaptive cruise control, traffic sign recognition, parking assistance, lane keeping and other options. Crossover production will begin in 2024, with Cupra planning to sell more than 50,000 Tavascans per year.
