The number of illegally sold car sharing accounts in March increased by 40% compared to February, report Izvestia with reference to T. Hunter.
According to a company representative, in February there were 250 such ads, and in March – 350. The source explained that the growth was associated with an increase in demand for car sharing, as it became more expensive to own a personal car under the sanctions. The company RTK-Solar said its account costs have increased significantly. If in February they cost from 800 to 6 thousand rubles, then in March the price exceeded 10 thousand rubles.
According to experts, such accounts are used by people who do not have the necessary documents for registration or have not reached a certain age or experience. In this case, the fines do not come to the real driver, but to the user specified in the profile.
