Truck driver who crashed committed suicide informs Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the Ivanovo region.
The incident occurred in the evening of April 15 in the village of Novo-Talitsy. The Mercedes-Benz truck entered the opposite lane and collided with the Kia Rio, then turned out to be off the highway and stopped. As a result of the accident, the driver and passenger of the Kia were injured of varying severity.
“The alleged perpetrator of the accident did not respond to repeated requests from police officers to get out of the taxi. In response, he left the driver’s seat and went deep into the cabin, where he committed suicide, ”the regional directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs said in a statement. Police are investigating the circumstances of the incident.
