The restored PAZ-652B funeral bus, which was under restoration a few years ago, arrived at the warehouse of the Moscow Transport Museum, located in the former Pokrovskaya Vegetable Warehouse. In this respect informs Telegram channel “Retrobus: direct injection”.
According to him, the restoration of a rare bus in recent years took place at the SVARZ (Sokolnichesky car repair and construction factory), and the PAZ museum itself was previously used as a hearse and has been restored in accordance with its original purpose and historical color. After decommissioning, it was used as an entrance gate at the Ritual base until 1998, after which it was transferred to the museum.
The PAZ-652B modification was produced by the Pavlovsk Bus Plant from 1962 to 1968. Buses for funeral services in Moscow were re-equipped at the Aremkuz factory near the Paveletsky railway station.
