From January 2022 to March 2023, prices for auto parts in Russia increased by 30-100%. Tatyana Ovchinnikova, director of the Fit Service international network of automobile services, said this in an interview with socialbites.ca. The expert noted that the prices of absolutely all spare parts for cars have increased compared to before the crisis.
“The price of European spare parts has increased significantly. The import of many product groups such as cooling system pumps and motor oils from Europe to our country was banned in 2022. Therefore, logistics chains and delivery costs have increased. In some cases, you need to work through agents who add value to their services. Ovchinnikova said that the increase in the prices of various items ranged from 30% to 100%.
According to him, the prices of engine oils, as well as pads of such popular models as Hyundai Solaris and Kia Rio, have almost doubled since January 2022.
Ovchinnikova noted that car owners will be able to find any spare parts for their cars, but perhaps this will be not a familiar brand, but a lesser-known manufacturer.
