“There are more than a thousand cars in traffic. The movement began in both directions, towards Moscow and Rostov, ”Filippov said.

Filippov noted that the situation in the emergency area has improved, traffic congestion has decreased from 60 km to 30 km, the number of people staying in temporary accommodation centers has decreased from 176 to 134, and about 30 children remain.

766 passengers remained in 33 buses stuck in traffic due to snowfall. According to the Ministry of Emergencies, food is delivered to the emergency area with the help of snowmobiles, and fuel is also transported with heavy equipment. Eight fixed heating and feeding points and seven temporary shelters were deployed at the scene.
