Rostov Region Governor Vasily Golubev reported on his Telegram channel that traffic on the M-4 Don highway has decreased by 30 percent.
“181 people and 111 pieces of equipment are involved in the liquidation of emergencies. Congestion reduced from 60 km to 39 km. As before, I receive hourly information, we continue to work, ”writes Golubev.
He added that as of 03:00, eight heating and feeding points, as well as seven temporary shelters, were deployed in the emergency area and children were moved to these points.
In addition, employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations were able to organize four “technological breaks” – openings in the axial barrier fence, through which cars stuck in it can return.
Food distribution was organized along seven routes to the emergency area.
