At the exhibition “ITS for regions” an adapted complex for photo-video fixation of traffic violations “Azimut 4” was shown.
It is already being prepared for installation on the road, and the Leningrad and Tomsk regions will be the first to receive it.
This is a development of the company Road Safety Technologies (part of GC “Urban tech”), who has 25 years of experience in road safety technology and equipment.
One of the features of the new complex is its high degree of localization. Azimuth 4 can also recognize 23 types of traffic violations, including trains using neural network data processing. For example, cameras can “see”:
- unfastened seat belt,
- using a phone while driving
- type of goods transported,
- recognize the make of the vehicle,
- recognize the color of the vehicle.
Azimuth 4 will help reduce the number of accidents by enhancing the technological potential of regional photo and video recording systems. GC “Urbantech”.
Deploying the complex on the road takes a minimum of time as the equipment is configured and operated remotely. The equipment is placed in a metal monobloc and reliably protected.

– The new modification of the Azimuth 4 complex has improved features, which have also been changed for other versions of the VCR. The company certified the device in September 2022 and has already entered mass production. It is important that we have managed to achieve a high level of localization – we select suppliers carefully and always give preference to domestic contractors. In addition, the software is fully developed by the company’s specialists. The entire production base – the development department, the PCB soldering department, the machining department – is located in one location in Perm.
