During the year, 522 new dealers specializing in cars from China started operating in Russia. Thus, their total number reached 1114, which is 52% more than a year ago. At the same time, 143 dealers stopped working for one reason or another.
The largest number of dealers – 119 – were opened by the Omoda brand. Chery-owned Exeed has added 58 dealers, while Chery has opened 57 brand centers.

Geely has 45 new dealers, FAW has 34, Changan and JAC have 20, while the dealer networks of Dongfeng and Haval have expanded in one year with 19 and 11 car dealers respectively.
Brands that have recently entered the Russian market also have their own dealers. At the moment there are 19 Skywell car dealerships, 18 Voyah dealerships and 11 Tank dealerships in Russia. In mid-March, the Kaiyi brand opened its first car dealership, the cars of which were produced by the Avtotor Kaliningrad plant.
According to Alexei Podshchekoldin, vice president of the Russian Automobile Dealers Association, the most active development of dealer networks of Chinese brands already known to Russians will take place in the regions in the near future.
Earlier it became known that the Russians began to change more often from “fresh” cars of European brands to new Chinese crossovers.
