In China, car manufacturers organized an attraction of unprecedented generosity: about 30 brands (including not only the Chinese Chery, FAW, SAIC, BYD, but even BMW) lowered the prices for their products to a record high.
It all started with the Tesla dump in January. Now the size of the discounts varies: BYD is ready to give up to 20 thousand yuan (220 thousand rubles), Chery – 31 thousand yuan (340 thousand rubles) for a model known to us as Tiggo 8 Pro. As a result, the base price in the homeland fell to 1 million rubles.
Toyota was the strongest. A dealer from Shenzhen gives an extra car instead of discounts when buying a bZ4X electric crossover! This is a fairly inexpensive Toyota Vios sedan with a price of 73.9 thousand yuan (820 thousand rubles), but still nice.
At the same time, experts warn that we should not expect price reductions for Chinese models.
