Price increases in the Russian automobile market may continue for another one and a half to two years. In this respect informs Kommersant, quoting financial analyst Stanislav Bovt.
According to the expert, prices and the market situation will not change much in 2023. The expert noted that although the volume of car deliveries from China will increase, the weakening ruble against the dollar and yuan still does not give reason for optimism.
The expert also noted that since the cost of transporting goods has increased several times, the expansion of parallel imports is unlikely to affect the decline in prices. Bovt concluded that the high price situation in the automobile market will continue for another one and a half to two years, after which the market will stabilize and prices will begin to decline by the end of 2024.
Previously reportedThat Russian car factories produced 61.3% fewer vehicles in 2022 than the previous year.
