Two adults and two children died in the accident that occurred in the Arkhangelsk region, informs Regional SU of RF IC.
The accident occurred on the evening of March 19, on the 657th kilometer of the A-215 highway in the Plesetsk region. According to preliminary data, the drunk DAF truck driver lost control and entered the opposite lane, where he collided with a Hyundai car.
As a result of the accident, the 36-year-old passenger car driver, his wife and two children aged 11 and 15 died at the scene. The other 6-year-old children were seriously injured and taken to the hospital. A 31-year-old man from Dagestan was driving the truck. It turned out that he had violated traffic rules many times before.
A criminal case was opened in accordance with paragraph “a” of part 6 of Art. 264 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. It was noted that the investigation would insist on the arrest of the DAF driver.
