Owners of Renault cars may face a shortage of spare parts, said Alexei Podshchekoldin, vice president of the Russian Automobile Dealers Association.
Recall that after Renault left Russia, AVTOVAZ took on warranty obligations for car maintenance, and VAZ’s subsidiary Lada-Image is responsible for purchasing spare parts. However, problems with spare parts remain.

Sales of Renault and Kia cars have traditionally topped sales statistics. Many cars have been bought, customers believe in dealers and come to them for repairs.
We were in a situation where the press says there are spare parts, and if dealers refuse, they are cheating you, they just want to sell at a higher price, artificially increasing the shortage. Actually, there are no spare parts. We no longer receive new cars or spare parts. At the same time, representative offices want dealers to maintain service standards,” said Alexey Podshchekoldin, who was embarrassed.
At the same time, the inspection of manufacturers remains, but there is no assistance in the supply of spare parts.
In this regard, he suggested re-signing contracts with departed brands at a new level, allowing dealers to continue working within their customer base. At the same time, requirements for dealers must be reduced. Since the interaction conditions have changed on the other side, they must also change on this side. At the same time, dealers try to maintain their official status. Even though the brands have left Russia.
