We have already talked about this interesting project from Belarus: the craftsmen extended the frame of the standard ZIL-131 and rolled up another cart with two drive shafts under the resulting “tail”.
Last time the car was taken out for the first tests, and what seemed spectacular, as planned, turned out not entirely effective in practice.
The resulting chassis did not please with the kinematics of the suspension and, with all the pleasure that brought both the driver and the public, this “many-legged” in part did not justify the advances given to off-road vehicles.
But the guys analyzed the situation and drew the right conclusions: they loaded the frame with a body, relieved the tires and put on Scandinavian chains. Sit back and prepare for a relaxed but very exciting story.
