The Chukotsnab company has suspended the sale of AI-95 gasoline to Chukotka residents until navigation begins. Reported by TASS based on the company statement. It was noted that navigation should begin in June 2023.
“Today there is an acute situation with AI-95 gasoline shortages. The main reason for this is the 30% increase in such fuel consumption since October 2022. In this regard, Chukotsnab JSC had to suspend the sale of AI-95 to the population until the start of navigation in 2023, ”the statement said.
It was noted that Chukotsnab is engaged in the purchase and supply of petroleum products to the territory of the Chukotka Autonomous Okrug. The company’s gas stations are located in six districts of the region.
