On March 4, a one-of-a-kind Jaguar XJR-15 supercar was sold at RM Sotheby’s auction. The circulation for 1990-1992 was 53 copies, of which only 27 civilian copies. Lot serial number 042 sold for $1.27 million.
The uniqueness of this copy also lies in the fact that it is in mint condition. The mileage since its introduction in 1991 is only 246 kilometers. Because of this, the machine needs careful maintenance before it is put into operation, and some spare parts are even included.
This supercar is powered by a 6 liter V12 with 450 hp. The manual transmission has 5 speeds for road cars and 6 for race cars. The car accelerates to 97 km/h in 3.2 seconds and reaches a maximum speed of 307 km/h.
